architecture on film: the beginners

i fell in love with this movie and its set style

besides being super nostalgic as it is filmed in my old hood of silverlake and the surrounds

i also found out that the house in it is none other than the Lovell house designed by Richard Neutra 

a lot of thonet-y chairs and stuff that seemed styled by Emily Henderson but wasn't 

from Anna's great kimono to lovely glass decanters filled with flower stems to flags as curtains
